Description
Acer argutum – Native to the islands of Honshu and Shikoku, in Japan. Consider a collector tree due to its seed being rare. This multi-stemmed tree grows 20 feet tall has sharply 5 lobed pale green leaves that are 2-4” inches across turning orange-gold in autumn. The leaves have distinguished veins, the winged fruits spread horizontally.
