Description
Acer Diabolicum – Horned Maple – Grows 50’ feet tall but can be much smaller. Has smooth gray bark, bearing large 5 lobe coarsely toothed leafs. The common name comes from paired horn like projections from the seeds. Bristly, red brown winged fruits follow the pendulous yellow flowers. A purple leaf form produces abundant pink flowers
