Description
Acer truncatum – Purpleblow Maple – Shantung Maple -A slow grower from China where it’s commonly used as a street tree has a dense dome shape habit reaching 25’ feet tall and 30’ feet wide. The 3-5” inch long leaves have 5-7 lobes and are greenish-purple when young becoming green then in autumn turn gold or red. Yellowish green flowers are in upright corymbs.
