Adlumia
Theirs a single species of a biennial weak climber, in this genus. Found in moist woodland in temperature areas in east North America. Grown for there delicate foliage and flower held in irregularly branched flower clusters. The leaves are 2-4 pinnate describes a compound leaf with leaflets arrange in alternately pairs stemming from the base forming a rosette, which are very finely divided of delicate foamy texture. Flowers are borne at the end of stems in weak drooping spray shape like small bleeding-heart (Diantra) flower.
Grow in sun to partial shade in fertile humus rich moist but well drained soil sheltered from strong winds, likes a humid position. Allow to climb into lower branches of a nearby tree or guide by wire.
Prone to aphids.

Has 2-4 compound leafs light green almost fern like 4-10”long. Flowers are green or purple in panicles in summer to autumn. As flowers fade the persistent petal enclose the developing seedpods.
