Cedris atlas ‘Glauca’

comes 5-6′, 6-7′, 7-8′, and larger feet tall

C. atlantica – C. libani subsp. atlantica – Atlas Cedar Atlantic Cedar – This conifer tree, from Morocco and Algeria is first pyramidal then becomes broadly flat topped tree, grows 130-150′ feet tall and 30′ feet wide in the wild, in cultivation 80′ feet tall is more likely. It has fissured, silvery gray bark. It produces sharply pointed, roughly 4 sided, dark green to bluish leaves, to 1″ long, in whorls of 30-45.Female cones, 2 ½-4″ long, are barrel shaped and green becoming pale brown.

f. glauca – Blue Atlas Cedar – has
vivid, blue foliage, silvery white at first.

evergreen tree – Grow in a sunny, open site, in any well drained soil. If double leaders are produced, the weaker shoot should be cut out in autumn.
