Hosta ‘Sum and Substance’ blooms from July to August perennial
H. ‘Sum and Subtance’ – This clump forming perennial grows 30″ tall and 4′ feet wide. It produces heart shaped, flat, glossy, yellow-green to yellow leaves, 20″ long, glaucous beneath, becoming puckered when mature. In mid and late summer it bears dense racemes of bell shaped, very pale lilac flowers on leaning, glaucous stems, 36″ long. Thrives in sun or partial shade.
