Description
Rosa ‘Blanc Double de Coubert’ – This rugosa rose grows 4-5′ tall and 4′ feet wide. It produces leathery, deeply veined dark green foliage which may turn bronze -yellow in autumn. From spring to autumn, bears loose petaled cupped to flat, semi double, intensely fragrant white flowers, that are 3″ across, with yellow stamens, followed by, sometimes, spherical red hips. Tolerates arid and poor soils. Flowers attract Japanese Beetles and is prone to rose stem gridler.
