A.pictum ‘Thompsonii’ – Chinese lantern – A. striatum of gardens – This native to Brazil is an evergreen is normal lanky and a weak shrub that grows to 15’ feet tall. The dark green leaves that are spattered with yellow that are deeply divided into 3 or 5 lobes, 6” inches long and bears solitary flowers that are drooping and bell shape. Flowers twice, once in summer and again in autumn. The flowers are bell shaped and salmon- pink.
