has fragrant, deep red flowers in mid and late winter, and orange to yellow and
red autumn foliage
Grow in moderately fertile, moist but well drained, acidic to neutral soil in full sun or partial shade, in an open but not exposed site. Also grow in deep, humus rich, alkaline soils.
