Ajuga reptans – European Bugle – Common Bugle – Blue Bugle – Carpet Bugle – Is the most commonly grown Ajuga and is native to Europe. This evergreen spreads by above ground runner making a mat of leafy rosettes only 2-3” tall but can spread indefinitely. In spring 8” tall spikes dark blue ½” flowers.
evergreen perennial ground cover – Their frost hardy trouble free plants that grow in moist soil in partial shade or part day sun. Foliage may scorch in full sun although bronze and variegated develop best color in sun.
