C. ‘Lucifer’ – This robust, cormous perennial grows 3-4′ feet tall. It produces pleated, mid green leaves. In mid summer it bears upward facing, bright red flowers, to 2″ long, are carried in bold, slightly arching, sparsely branched spikes.
perennial – Plant 3-4″ deep in spring, in moderately fertile, humus rich, moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade. Lift and divide congested clumps in spring to maintain vigor.
