Description

L. japonicum – Japanese Privet – This upright, dense, evergreen shrub from Northern China, Korea, and Japan grows 10′ feet tall and 8′ feet wide. It produces, oval, glossy, olive green leaves, to 4″ long. From late summer to early autumn it bears white flowers in conical panicles, to 6″ long, followed by ovoid-oblong blue-black fruit.

Grow in well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, variegated privets color better in sun. Able to withstand regular clipping
