Description
Rosa filipes ‘Kiftsgate’ – This extremely vigorous rampant rambler is very slow yo establish but then after reaches 30-50′ feet tall and 20′ feet wide. It produces abundant glossy, mid green leaves, each composed of 5-7 narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate leaflets, up to 2-3″ long, which are reddish tinted when young and turn russet in fall. In early summer it bears large corymbs of upward of 80, cupped, single, fragrant, creamy white flowers, that are 1″ across, followed by orange-red hips in fall.
