Telephium –

There are 6 procumbent perennials in this genus. They are found in warm, open sites among limestone rocks or sandy, gravelly soils in the Mediterranean, North   Africa, Madagascar and Southwestern Asia. They are grown for their white inflorescence with unusual knob shaped   tips. Grow on a sunny slope in a rock garden.

Grow in perfectly drained soil in full sun.

T. imperati – This rhizomatous, woody, trailing to upright perennial from Southern Europe grows 6″ tall and 16″ wide.   It produces alternate, egg shaped, fleshy, glaucous,   Mid green leaves, to ½” long. In spring, it bears knob tipped cymes of 5-50 white flowers, to 3/4″ across, with green sepals.
