C. lutea – Pseudofumaria lutea – Yellow Corydalis – This rhizomatous, mound forming, evergreen perennial is wide spread in Europe grows 12-16″ tall and 12″ wide. It produces fern like, 2 ternate or 2 or 3 pinnate, arching leaves, 4-6″ long, with obovate, 3 lobed leaflets, pale green above, glaucous beneath. From late spring to early autumn it bears bluntly spurred, golden yellow flowers, to 3/4″ long, are carried in terminal and axillary racemes of 6-16, in a long succession. Self seeds freely.

Partial shade and moderately
fertile, humus rich, moist but well drained soil
