P. ‘Lambrook Mauve’ – P. reptans ‘Lambrook Mano’ – P. reptans ‘Lambrook Mauve’ – This clump forming perennial forming rounded mounds grows 18″ tall and wide. It produces pinnate leaves, to 10″ long, each composed of 7-19 ovate or oblong leaflets, 1 1/4-2″ long. In late spring and early summer it bears erect, branched stems that carry lax, terminal cymes of bell shaped, lilac blue flowers, ½-3/4″ across.

Grow tall species in any fertile, well drained but moist soil, preferably in full sun or part shade. Grow small species in gritty, sharply drained soil in full sun with some midday shade. Deadhead regularly. Divide in spring.
