H. ‘Strawberry Candy’ – This semi evergreen tetraploid grows 26″ tall. In early and mid season it bears remontant, strawberry-pink-blended flowers, 4 ½” across, with flat, rounded, reflexed, very ruffled tepals, rose-red eye zones, and yellow green throats, atop sturdy, branched stems
Grow in fertile, moist but well drained soil, in full sun. Water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-3 weeks.Mulch in late autumn or spring. Divide every 3-5 years in spring or autumn. Dry conditions and excessive shade will reduce flowering. Place with care flowers will turn to the sun.
