C. morrowii cultivars – Japanese Sedge – These clump forming, evergreen perennials from Japan mostly grow 18-20″ tall and 12″ wide. It produces broad, stiff, pointed, shiny, mid green leaves, 16″ long. In early summer it bears insignificant panicles of green and brown flower spikes, 3/4-2″ long, atop of stems to 18″ long.

Fertile, moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade.
