C. x clandonensis cultivars – Mist Shrub – Blue Spiraea – These crosses between C. incana and C. mongolica grows 3′ feet tall and 5′ feet wide .They form dense, mounds composed of ovate-lance shaped, slightly irregularly toothed, gray-green leaves, to 2″ long, silver hairy beneath. They bear delicate axillary and terminal cymes of deep blue or violet-blue flowers, to ½” across, in late summer and early autumn.

Grow in moderately fertile, light, well drained soil in full sun or light shade. Prune in winter or early spring.
