Description
Rosa x centifolia ‘Muscosa’ – R. x centifolia ‘Communis’ – Common Moss Rose – Old Pink Moss – Cabbage Rose – Provence Rose – ‘Rose des Peintres’ – This branching moss rose grows 5′ feet tall and 4-5′ feet wide. From thorny branches it carries dull, dark green leaves consisting of 5-7 broadly ovate leaflets, to 2″ long. In spring or summer, bears cupped fully double, typically composed of 200 petals around a button like center, and are richly perfumed pink sometimes flowers that are 3″ across. Moderately disease resistant best left to fend for its self.
