C. poscharskyana – Serbian Bellflowers – This rampant spreading perennial, spreads by underground runners from Mountains of Croatia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina grows 6-12″ tall and at least 24″ wide. It produces toothed, rounded to ovate, hairy, mid green leaves, to 1″ long, heart shaped at the bases. From early summer to autumn it bears sprays of star shaped, mauve-blue flowers, to 1″ across, with white centers. Part shade will prolong flowering.
