– Grows 20-30″ tall and 12-24″ wide and produces deep reddish purple
young leaves, becoming red flushed green and pink tinted white flowers.
perennial – Grow border perennial in fertile, well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, grow shrubby and dwarf species in poor to moderately fertile, very gritty, sharply drained soil in full sun. Cut plants back hard after flowering.Where marginally hardy, protect with a dry winter mulch. Divide in spring.
